Top Trends: the loafer or moccasin!

We all know that the male influence is a top trend these days. We also know, that the oxford style shoes are one of the main must haves in our shoe collection, indeed. Now, the loafers come to join the oxfords, and to give our feet, a truly confy preppy london style... adorables!!

Many of the main brands have made their own moccasin. From the classic flat that shows Forever 21 or Miu Miu, to the eclectic high heeled metalic pairs from Alexander wang... there's something for everybody!


Mi little tip: Wear a classic pair of them, with 3/4 socks and a pretty femenine skirt! sooo classy.

Todos sabemos que la influencia masculina es una de las tendencias más top en estos días. Tambien sabemos, que los zapatos estilo Oxford, son unos de los principales must haves de nuestra coleccion de zapatos, desde luego. Ahora, los mocasines vienen a acompañar a los Oxford, y a darle a nuestros pies, un estilo preppy londinense increíblemente cómodo... adorables!!

Muchas de las principales marcas, han creado su propia version del mocasin. Desde el clásico estilo que nos muestran Forever21 o MiuMiu, hasta los más eclecticos, como los que nos trae Alexander Wang, en una version en tacón, con coleres eléctricos y metalicos.

Mi pequeño consejo: Utiliza un par clásico con medias 3/4 y una linda y femenina falda! con mucha clase!

Top trends: Getting Navy!

ENGLISH. ¿Who doesn't remember tht epic and famous picture of a second world war sailor kissing a white dress girl on Time' Square?
The photo was taken by the German-American photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt on august 14 of 1945, and thanks of its huge meaning, became one of the most famous and knowed pictures ever.

And is exactly that Navy-Nostalgic esthetic, the one that come this new season to take the lead on the biggest trends that soon or later we all are gonna love.

The entire blue palette, the white, the red, the black and a little of golden get together in clean striped prints, sailor draws and "cruise of love" blazers.

The key elements? Striped blouses and dresses, dark blue blazers, the high waist shorts and the double botton lines.

La imagen fue captada por el fotografo Alemán-Americano Alfred Eisenstaedt, el 14 de agosto de 1945, y que gracias a su gran significado, le ha dado la vuelta al mundo por décadas.

Es precisamente esa estética Navy nostalgica, la que viene esta temporada a acaparar parte de las tendencias que todas amaremos.

Los tonos azules, blancos, rojos y negros se fusionan en estampados a rayas, motivos marineros, y blazers al mejor estilo de "El crucero del amor".

¿Los elementos clave? Las blusas a rayas,  blazers en azul marino, los shorts de talle alto y las dobles abotonaduras.

Zuecos! Te atreves??!

ENGLISH. The last time I wear clocs I was probably like 10 years old, and didn't have a clue about what I was wearing. Almost for a decade (or more), this peculiar shoes have been far away from the runways and absent on our closets.

I remember how not more than 2 years ago, I swear with my life that I were not going to use clocs ever again. But yeah, like every other trend, the clocs are back.... and stronger than ever!!!... I seriously confess that it was difficult to me to let them get in to my wardrobe again, but I finally did it, and even got enchanted by more than a pair.

Since the early spring, the prncipal fashion houses had give the clocs a very special place, and even the label MiuMiu dedicated almost an entire collection to this kind of shoes, with a very floral and cute interpretation of them, always with super high heels!

In the case of fall-winter, the interpretation is much more sober. The neutral colors like black and brown are the main characters, and the different aplications a plus.

How to combine them? Mix them with your favorite skinny jeans and a beautiful bluse or tank for a casual look. Put them with a cute tulip skirt or ankle pants for a more formal outfit.

My advice? Bet on the high heel clocs to look super stylish.This kind of shoe has the particularity of bein rounded and wide, so it can make us look a little more small of what we are. This is wy is important to choose a pair with a good high heel.

My choice? The black ones with studs!! they are awesome and they combine with everything!

ESPAÑOL.La última vez que utilice zuecos, podría haber tenido unos 10 años, y no tener ni idea de lo que me estaba poniendo. Casi por una década entera (o más), estos peculiares zapatos estuvieron alejados de las pasarelas, y ausentes en nuestro guardarropa.

Recuerdo como hace no más de dos años juraba y recontra juraba que nunca utilizaría zuecos otra vez. Pero si, como todas las tendencias, los zuecos han vuelto… y ¡¡¡más fuertes que nunca!!!.... Confieso que me tenía mis reservas y, aunque me costo aceptar la idea de verlos de nuevo en mi closet, lo logré, y hasta me encanté por más de un par.

Desde inicios de la primavera, las principales casas de moda se han encargado de darle un lugar especial a este tipo de calzado, e inclusive la marca MiuMiu, le hizo un homenaje dedicándole casi por completo su colección de spring 2010, con diseños muy coloridos y florales, apuntando siempre a las alturas.

En el caso del otoño invierno, podemos ver como los zuecos se han reinterpretado en una versión mucho más sobria. Los colores neutros como el negro y el café son los protagonistas, y las diferentes aplicaciones un plus.

¿Como combinarlos? Prueba llevarlos con tus skinny jeans favoritos y una blusa encantadora para un look casual. Para algo más formal, prueba llevarlos con una hermosa falda tulipán, o un mini vestido; o bien con unos pantalones pitillo (tobilleros).

¿Mi consejo? Apuéstale a los zuecos con tacón alto, para verte súper estilizada. Al ser este tipo de zapato de punta redonda y ancha, suele hacernos ver un poco más chatas. Por eso es importante escoger un par con un buen taconazo.

Mi elección: ¡Los negros de tacón alto y con tachuelas! ¡¡¡Van con todo!!!

The new Black!: the blue! // El nuevo Negro!!: Azul!!

ENGLISH. We're more than clear with the fact that neutral colors are the kings of the season, but of course, some of them rule the best, and now is the time for the blue. Even when blue is a neutral, it has the peculiarity of showing freshness and elegance at the same time, and gives us a more original alternative, instead of using the sameones, black or gray.

The little BLUE dress. Don't doubt about getting this season some basic clothes and accesories   in blue tones, because besides of being so in, it goes almost with every color, get yourself without a doubt the blue version of your favorite little black dress.

The best complements?? Mustard, camel and dark purple. Also, far of being rejected, the black became the blue BFF, and we're going to see them in thousands of different combinations together.

ESPAÑOL.Estamos más que claros que los colores neutros son los reyes de la temporada, pero por supuesto, unos reinan más que otros, y ese es el caso del Azul. Apesar de ser un color neutral, el azul tiene la propiedad de demostrar frescura y elegancia  a la vez, y nos da una alternativa más original ante las opciones de siempre, el negro y el gris. 

Little BLUE dress. No dudes en adquirir  durante este fin de año, prendas y accesorios básicos en tonos de azul, ya que además de estar super de temporada, va con casi cualquier color, adquiere sin dudarlo la versión en Blue de tu little black dress favorito.

¿Sus mejores complementos para la temporada? El mostaza, el camel y el morado oscuro. Además de estos tres colores, el negro fuera de quedar desplazado por el azul, se convierte en su mejor amigo,  y los veremos juntos en innumerables combinaciones.

ENGLISH. Who doesn't remember those cozy sweters our lovely grnadmas used to gave us on Christmas and that we left always on the back of the closet??!! Yes!! They suprised us this season!! Those wool sweaters with rustic and festive prints are so IN this final season!! Labels like Zara or Next had came with more than one version, that definetly promess to mantain  us cozy and warm.

How to wear them to don't look like a mamma's girl? Don't dress from head to toe with this fabric/print, because you're gonna look like if you were from a christmas card.... choose one item, and combine it with lighter and sober ones.

ESPAÑOL.Quién no recuerda aquellos sweters tejidos que nuestras abuelas nos regalaban para las fiestas, y que se quedaban siempre en el fondo de nuestro closet??!! Pues si!! En este temporada nos tomaron por sorpresa!! Los sweters tejidos con motivos rústicos o festivos estan mega in en este fin de año! Firmas como Zara o como Next, dejan ver más de una prenda con este estilo, que promete llenarnos de calor en lo más intenso del invierno.

Pero como llevar esta prenda sin vernos como nenas de mamá?? No te vistas de pies a cabeza de este material/print, porque parecerás salida de una tarjeta de navidad. Combína la prenda elegida, con otras mucho más lisas, menos ásperas y más sobrias. :D

It isn't a secret, that the seventy inspiration has been around since a couple of seasons with its XXL toffee sunglasses and its messy hair, but have pass many time since we saw this much 70's in a season. Thats right, the seventies are rocking the more relaxed and rebel section of the season, to give to your stillettos ans your ladylike dresses a break.

Para nadie es un secreto que la inspiración setentera ha estado rondando las ultimas temporadas, con sus lentes XXL en toffee, y sus melenas descuidadas, pero desde hace mucho que no veíamos tanto 70's en una tendencia. Asi es, los setentas se apoderan  de la sección de tendencia más relajada de la temporada, para asi darle un descanso a tus taconazos y  vestidos ladylike, y dejar ver una versión mucho más relax y rebelde de vos.

 Celebrities like Jessica Alba, Katie Holmes and Alexa Chung fell in love with this trend, and got dreesed entirely as Ali McGraw or some Runaway!. The must haves? Wide Leg pants and jeans, woodmen style shirts and huge Sunglasses in caramel and dregradé tones.
