LOOK OF THE DAY: The sweater dress // El vestido sweater!

ENGLISH. We're in the ice time, and what is more confortable and practical than a good cozy sweater. This season, the sweater didn't come just to warm us at home, it came to dress us up in every single ocassion... any oportunity is good!

This is how many fashion houses shows us, like D&G and Cloé, that have fall in love with the sweater and have put it coctel parties, dates... and any time!

Here I'm gonna let you my trend interpretation! hope you like it!

ESPAÑOL.Estamos en el tiempo del frío, y que más cómodo y práctico que un buen sweater. Esta temporada el sweater no solo viene a calentarnos en casa, si no que se apega a todas y cada una de las ocaciones... cualquier oportunidad es buena!

Asi nos lo muestran varias casas de moda, como D&G y Cloè, quienes defienden a capa y espada el sweater, y lo colocan como prenda reina del invierno, vistiendote en cocteles, fiestas y cuanquier oportunidad... las opciones son infinitas.

Por aca te dejo mi interpretación de la tendencia... espero que te guste!.

Para las ocaciones elegantes, Seyfried le apuesta a los minivestidos muy femeninos, y siempre con toques especiales. Para los momentos mas relajados, Amanda se va por una de dos opciones: jeans pitillo o shorts con blazers estilo masculino y estampados florales, especialmente en vestidos y faldas.  After checking the Pret A Porter fall Winter 2010/11 collections, I 've to say that the best collection for me is the Louis Vuitton's.This is a dresses and skirts collection totally and completly exquisite, with definetly obvious 50's and 60's inspirations, a perfect ode to femenine taste, able to make that even the most sporty girl fall in love with one of this amazing dresses.

Luego de ver las pasarelas pret A Porter para Otoño Invierno 2010/11, debo decir que la que más me cautivo fue la de Louis Vuitton. Una colección de vestidos total y completamente exquisita, con inspiraciones 50's y 60's más que claras, un homenaje a la femineidad, capaz de hacer caer en la seducción del vestido hasta a la mujer más deportiva.

Very marked waists, really long skirts, delicate prints and a color range as elegant as femenine, made a collection that stays between the classic and the chic. The must haves of this collection? The laces, the "dirty light colors", the bows, the ultra long skirts, the classic prints and without a doubt, the curviest figure ever.

Cinturas marcadas, faldas hasta la mitad de la pantorrilla, estampados delicados y una gama de colores tan elegantes como femeninos, conforman una colección que se debate entre lo clásico y lo chic. Los elementos clave de la temporada? Los encajes, los tonos "pastel grisaceos", los lazos, las faldas mega largas, los estampados clásicos como el tartán, y sin duda alguna, las curvas super marcadas.

PARIS FASHION WEEK: Chanel fall-winter 2010/11

July 6th.Different by far from the last spring-summer collection that was inspired more in sci-fi cartoon, this new season Chanel comes with a realistic, clean and naïf collection.

Colors like beiges in all the tones, military green, wine red, grays, black and even one or two blues, made this collection much more sober, combinable and with a touch of post-war 40’s; maintaining the elegance and glamour.

We can see elements like wool, lace and fur; all of them perfectly confectioned. Graphics, geometrics, and floral elements; and many Baroque touches, specially on the dresses.

The long skirt suit is one of the Collection Kings, like the ¾ sleeves in blazers, trench coats and dresses. Also, Chanel propose a contrast between simplicity and originality on dresses.  For one side clean and simple shapes with middle long dresses, and for the other side; laces, heavy prints and baroque elements; all of them originally well done.

Without a doubt the fashion house SURPRISED US ONE MORE TIME.

Seis de Julio.A diferencia de su colección primavera-verano, que fue mucho más con aire sci-fi, esta nueva temporada viene con una gama mucho más real, limpia y naif.

Colores como los beiges en todas sus tonalidades, verde musgo, vinos, grises, azabaches e inclusive uno que otro azulado, hacen de esta colección una colección sobria, combinable y con pequeños toques 40’s de post guerra, manteniendo la elegancia y el glamour característico de la casa.

Podemos observar elementos como la lana, el encaje y las pieles; todos exquisitamente elaborados. Elementos gráficos, geométricos y uno que otro floral; además de muchísimos elementos con aire barroco, principalmente en sus vestidos.

El traje de falda larga fue uno de los reyes de la colección, así como los blazer y trench coats de manga tres cuartos. Además Chanel propone un contraste entre simpleza y originalidad en sus vestidos. Por un lado con cortes limpios y sencillos a no más arriba del inicio de la rodilla, y por otro, encajes, estampados saturados, y elementos elaborados y originales.

Sin duda alguna la casa de moda NOS VUELVE A SORPRENDER.

I  was just checking out the new fall colection of the label Versus, and its pret and porter runway show. I just fall in love with their line "A" skirts and dresses!!! check them out! I'm gonna let u here my favorites! kss!
