Object of Desire: Oxford Shoes! // Objetos del deseo: Zapatos Oxford!

Who says that you have to wear ballerinas or sneakers to feel comfortable!?  One of the most trend styles these seasons is the Oxford or Balmoral; and without a doubt, they’ve become my objects of desire lately!

The Oxford are flat shoes made originally of leather. Even when this style has been more time in the male closet, they’re now a part of the women closet, too.

This style of shoes is a little bit masculine, so I recommend you to wear them with clothes and accessories more feminine, like floral prints, laces and romantic brooches to complement. It doesn’t matter if you choose a suede pair, a nude color pair, the classics black and white, or the original natural leather style; the point is that you find a pair that match the best with your personality and with all your wardrobe, because you’re going to start wearing them always! :)

Quien dice que para andar cómodas solamente existen los zapatos ballerina y las zapatillas deportivas!? Uno de los estilos más elegantes, cómodos, funcionales, y a la vez muy a la moda, son los Oxfords o Balmorales; y sin lugar a duda se han convertido en mi objeto de deseo más reciente!

Los Oxfords son zapatos planos hechos originalmente de cuero. A pesar de haberse visto mucho más en el guardarropa masculino, estas últimas temporadas vienen con fuerza para el armario femenino.

Al ser un modelo algo masculino, te recomiendo complementar tus Balmorales con accesorios y atuendos algo más femeninos como estampados florales, blusas con encajes y prendedores románticos para contrastar. No importa si escoges unos de gamuza, color beige, los clásicos blanco y negro o los tradicionales de cuero natural; lo importante es que encuentres un par que  se acomode mejor a tu personalidad y a todo tu guardarropa, porque no vas a poder dejar de usarlos! Bet on the Layers! // Apuéstale a la sobreposición de prendas!

Celebrities like Sienna Miller and Kate Bosworth love to wear superimposed clothes, and they both look incredible with them. But, How learn to wear layers in the best way? Here I’m gonna show you how! :D

Celebridades como Sienna Miller y Kate Bosworth aman vestir con prendas superpuestas, y ambas se ven increíbles con ellas. ¿Pero como aprender a utilizar las capas de la mejor forma? ¡Aquí te muestro como! :D

Thin Fabrics. One of the biggest myths about superimposed clothes, is that they’re gonna make you look bigger, but that isn’t true. Wear clothes made of thin fabrics like cotton or silk. This clothes’ll distract from the zones you wanna hide, without the need to add thickness.
Telas finas. Uno de los mayores mitos acerca de la sobreposición de prendas es que estas te harán ver más gruesa, pero lo cierto es que no es así. Utiliza a la hora de sobreponer, prendas de telas finas como el algodón, la seda, etc. Estas distraerán la mirada de zonas que quieres esconder, sin necesidad de añadir ningún volumen.

The Vest. If there’s a queen of clothes in the superimpose it must be the vest. This season try to wear it on acid wash denim, in gray and in black.

El chaleco. Si hay una prenda reina de la sobreposición esa es el chaleco. Prueba llevarlo esta temporada en mezclilla deslavada, en gris y en negro.

The shirt. One of the easiest ways to superimposed clothes is to wear a shirt blouse or a  shirt dress, over a modern printed tee and a good pair of dark jeans. Add to the outfit a good blazer or cardigan and you’ll be ready to go.

La camisera. Una manera práctica y fácil de sobreponer la ropa, es utilizar una Blusa o vestido camisero sobre una camiseta de algún estampado moderno y unos buenos jeans oscuros. Añade al conjunto una buena cazadora o chaqueta y estarás lista para salir.

Scarfs. Without a doubt, the perfect accesory to superimpose is the scarf. Wear them in different prints and shapes. This Season bet on florals, tribals and animal prints.

Bufandas y Pañuelos. Sin duda alguna, el accesorio perfecto para sobreponer es el pañuelo o la bufanda. Utilízalos con diferentes estampados y formas. Esta temporada apuéstale a los florales, con figuras geométricas y tribales, y a los estampados animales.

Who in their five senses wouldn’t like to be Carrie Bradshaw for at last one day? Well, of course all of us would like to!!...
Practically since the TV show Sex and the City came into the HBO screen, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her three unconditional friends: Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda; have become a worldwide fashion Icons, and now with their second Sex and the city movie premier, the impact is incredible. 
Even when all the clothes that Carrie or Sarah J. wears is out of our budget, to LOOK AND FEEL LIKE THEM you don’t need a lot of money, but ONE OR TWO TRICKS.

 Que mujer en sus cinco sentidos no querría ser, aunque fuera por un día, Carrie Bradshaw?! ¡Pues todas querríamos vernos así! …

Practicamente desde que la serie de Televisión Sex and the City llego a las pantallas de HBO Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) y sus tres inseparables amigas: Samantha, Charlotte y Miranda; se han convertido en iconos de la moda mundial, y ahora con el lanzamiento de su ya segunda película, el impacto ha sido inimaginable.

A pesar de que la mayoría de  la ropa que utiliza tando Carrie Bradshaw como Sarah Jessica Parker esta fuera del presupuesto de la mayoria, para VERSE Y SENTIRSE TAN GLAMOUROSA  no hace falta demasiado dinero, si no UNO QUE OTRO TRUCO.

The Waste. Something that is so Carrie, is to wear dresses and skirts that mark the waste. This kind of style is very flattering, because it’s gonna make you look curvier and it’s gonna make your legs longer, too. If you have thick hips, is recommended to use skirts or dresses with a “line A” cut  on the bottom. For the other side, if you have thin hips, you can use this cut and the pencil cut, too.

Cintura marcada. Algo muy característico de la Neoyorquina, es utilizar vestidos y faldas que marquen tu cintura. Este tipo de corte es muy sentador, ya que no solo te hará ver curvilínea, si no que alargará tus piernas y te estilizará. En el caso de las que son un poco anchas de cadera se recomienda que las faldas o vestidos sean volados en la parte baja, si por el contrario eres de cadera angosta, puedes utilizar este estilo más el de la falda lápiz o pegada al cuerpo.

High heels. If there’s something epic about Carrie is her eternal love for shoes, specially Stilettos. Bet on the High with a good pair of season high heels. You can try a Peep Toe Anckle Boots or a Sandal Boots, both styles so in this season.

Taconazos. Si hay una cosa épica acerca de Carrie y SJP, tiene que ser su eterno amor por los zapatos, sobre todo por los stilettos. Apuéstale a las alturas, con un buen par de tacones de temporada. Puedes probar con unos Botines Peep Toe o con unas Sandalias botín, ambos estilos súper de temporada.

  No afraid to shine. Any New Yorker can’t resist the idea of shine, and Bradshaw is not the exception. Wear blouses, tees and Shirts with glow applications and sequins, totally covered for the risky girls, and in details for the sober ones.

Sin miedo a Brillar. Ninguna Neoyorquina se resiste a la idea de brillar, y Bradshaw no es la excepción. Utiliza blusas y vestidos con apliques de brillo, tanto en su totalidad para las más osadas, o en pequeños detalles para las más discretas.

Vintage. Bet on wear vintage accesories and clothes with trend ones. Sarah J, is an icon of Vintage Fashion, and we can see it on the red carpet. Use laces, feathers, and 50’s and 30’s dresses.

Vintage. Apuéstale a utilizar accesorios y elementos vintage con otros más modernos. Sarah J. es un icono de la moda Vintage, y en esto lo podemos confirmar en cada una de las Alfombras Rojas a las que asiste. Utiliza encajes, accesorios con plumas y vestidos estilo 50’s y 20’s.

Romantic Hair. Nothing like the classic Carrie’s hair.  Wear it wavy and with a lot of volume. There are many great products to make that wavy effect, and give some volume. Don’t be afraid to try this look, because it works well for every one.

Melena desenfadada. Nada como la fiel y clásica cabellera de Carrie. Utiliza ondas y volumen. Existen en el mercado muchísimos productos de distintas marcas para crear este efecto, dar volumen y brillo de más, prueba con la melena de Carrie, y no temas, ya que es un estilo que le queda a cualquier tipo de forma y contextura.

You Must Have a Floral print!! // Tienes que tener estampado floral!

Definitely one of the prints you must have this season in your wardrobe is the Floral, especially the micro-floral in delicate shapes and tones.

Use this print in:   All kind of Blouses and shirts (manly style, baby neck style, stretch, over sized, with long sleeves and with short sleeves). Mini Skirts. Accessories like scarves, brooches, necklaces, headdresses and even shoes.

Mix it with:  natural brown leather accessories, wasted denim jackets and jeans, shoulder bags, biker jackets and pencil skirts.

I’m gonna let you here some examples, one with one of my own favorite blouses, and the other with a super naïf mini! Enjoy! And hope you like it! Kisses!

Definitivamente uno de los estampados que no te pueden faltar esta temporada en el armario es el Floral, especialmente el micro floral en tonos y formas delicadas.

Utiliza este print en:  Blusas de todo tipo: camiseras, con cuello de bebé con manga cortas y largas, con detalles, etc. Faldas cortas y voladas. Accesorios como pañuelos, prendedores, collares, tocados y hasta zapatos.

Mezclalo con: accesorios de cuero café claro, mezclilla desgastada, bandoleras, jackets tipo biker y faldas lapiz.

Por acá les dejo algunos ejemplillos, uno con una de las blusas de mi guardaropa,  y otro con una mini divina! :)  espero q les guste! BESOS!

Sporty Glam! / Glamour deportivo!

A basketball tee with high heels? An elegant skirt with sneackers? ... yeah. even when it sounds weird at the begining, one of the biggest trends for this season is the Sporty Glam, that consist in to combine sporty clothes with totally elegant elements. I FALL IN LOVE with this trend, because you can look glamourous but at the same time feel totally confortable!... besides you can have a lot of fun  mixing all the different stuff and trying new options!
Here I'm gonna let you some options and ideas to add this awesome trend to your wardrobe, and even use what you already have!... kisses!

QUEDE ENAMORADA con esta tendencia, porque puedes lucir glamurosa y al mismo tiempo sentirte completamente cómoda!... además puedes divertirte combinando los diferentes accesorios y tratar diferentes opciones!

Hey guys! How're you today?.... ok this a new section in the Blog named "My Closet!" here I'm gonna be posting about my personal stuff, the things I love,  latest shoppings and my favorite items at the moment! so, hope you like it!
This first edition of "My Closet"  is about those Oldies in your wardrobe that you still love like day one! I personally have plenty, but I've chose two of them.

Hola chic@s! Como andan hoy?.... ok , esta es una nueva sección del Blog llamada "Mi Closet!" Aqui postearé acerca de mi estilo personal, mis cosas, mis ultimas adquisiciones y mis accesorios y ropa favoritos del momento!

 Esta primera edición de "My Closet" es acerca de esos elementos algo viejitos de tu armario que sigues amando como si los acabaras de adquirir! Personalmente tengo varios, pero he escogido dos de ellos para mostrarles!

First I've here my favorite snickers of all the times! my old converse!. I have them since I was like in 8 grade, and you don't know how many times my mom has wanted to throw them in the garbage, but I still in love with them, even when I've buy other sneakers I just can't stop wearing them... Besides that old school look they give is awesome! isn't it?!

Primero que todo mis zapatillas favoritas! mis viejas converse!... Las tengo desde que estaba en octavo grado, y no tienen idea de cuantas veces mi mamá quiso tirarlas, pero es que simplemente sigo enamorada de ellas. Aún cuando he comprado otras deportivas no puedo dejar de usarlas, además ese look old school que te dan es increible!! cierto?!

And last but not less important, this amazing floral scarf!! It is really a vintage item, cuz it has been in my mom's wardrobe for at last 30 years!... I must confess that in my early years I just didn't love it, but now I just can't stop wearing it!.... besides it is so In right now with all the floral trend :D just love it.

Y por último este hermoso pañuelo con estampado floral! Es realmente un accesorio vintage, ha estado en el armario de mi madre por al menos 30 años!... Debo de confesar que siendo una niña no le preste demaciada atención, pero ahora no puedo dejar de usarlo!... además esta super de tendencia con el estampado Floral! :D simplemente lo amo!
